Does the Smart Mesh Seat fit on the Smart v1?

The Smart mesh seat does not fit onto the Smart V1 seat - the frame of the seat is too small.

However, the Mesh seat on the V2 seat frame will fit perfectly onto the V1 buggy frame, in both forward and rear facing.
